We, the Alabama Policy Institute (API), believe the Church has a God-given responsibility to guide and shape the moral and civic direction of our state. Pastors are called to speak truth, provide wisdom, and lead with integrity.
Through Gatekeepers, API empowers church leaders to engage with lawmakers and legislators, extending the Kingdom of God’s influence into public policy. By providing pastoral care, education, and encouragement, we ensure that biblical principles and values are promoted to elected leaders in Alabama.

The Gatekeepers Association exists to equip pastors with the tools and support they need to faithfully engage with federal, state, and local government. By strengthening leaders spiritually and practically, Gatekeepers help the Church influence public life in alignment with God’s principles.
